Chomsky မွု

The intellectual tradition is one of servility to power, and if I didn't betray it I'd be ashamed of myself.

Noam Chomsky

Kindred Spirit

Day after day, we keep faith and pray
A strong belief that justice will prevail
Some of us got killed and some were jailed
Still we think of them each day
Kindred spirits all the way

In life, fear seems real
Such mind is still uncivil

O Dear God
Utopians or dystopians you brought upon us
Regardless who they are, we'll rid of their ruthlessness

Eager to see out the fight
Learders have persevered till their demise
Elders and youths, together in for ultimate prize
Continue to fight for our rights
Till the truth comes to light
Equality and justice is our plight
Do it or die, the belief is not contrived

Liberty and justice for all
Everyone shall respect the law
Activists have exemplified for us all
Dear God, let no more martyr fall
Everyone involved is standing tall
Raring to find peace for all

Stand, Demand and Hold

Some of us are women
Some us Are men
It does not matter who we are
It all comes down to how each of us stand

The weak shows no sign of intimidation
The strong shows no sing of arrogance
Whatever they are, we are all mortal kind
The strength is what we need, not we must have
Fortitude and honesty
Is what counts when survival demands

The truth is that honesty never really counts
And, fortitude never mattered
For most of the time, the brutal and the merciless took hold

Time after time, the justice is never served
The people is ignored and freedom is denied

O Dear Lord, If you're watching
May all the tears be washed away
And, may the truth be brought upon us

Freedom From Fear

FREEDOM FROM FEAR

Fighters for freedom shall stand together
Regardless of merciless storm and weather
Endless sacrifice and endless pain
Everyday it reminds us to not refrain
Democratic change is all we desire
Once it begun, the struggle will not be tired
Mingalabar we greet, truth and justice is all we preach

Fellow friends and belivers
Reunite together to counter evildoers
On our watch, we hope and pray
May the truth and justice prevail

Fear is a habit, I am not afraid
Extend this mindset to youngsters and peers
A lady once said that uncivility and fear goes together
Retain this notion till we wither
